On May 6th, Chairman Song Jiahui of China Diving and Salvage Industry Association (CDSA), Secretary-General Chen Liping and Deputy Secretary-General Sean Song visited the SIOETC International Ocean Training Center for guidance and investigation. On behalf of the Center, General Manager wuyue warmly welcomed Song Jiahui and his party to the center for investigation. The Minister of Education and Training, Captain Dong Ming, Vice Minister of Education and Training Wang Xuejie, Director of Marketing Department Zhou Yu and Director of Office Zhang Wenfeng reported and exchanged views with the visiting leaders.

First of all, wuyue, on behalf of SIETC, made a work report to the CDSA leaders: the progress of domestic and international certification of SIETC in offshore oil and gas industry, offshore wind energy, emergency rescue and traffic safety training for offshore construction personnel, and the future expansion plan of SIETC in the fields of fire fighting, first aid and aviation.Chairman Song talked about the development of CDSA, and hoped that the members of the association could make concerted efforts in engineering diving, salvage service, marine engineering and prevention of marine environmental pollution, strengthen diversified cooperation with members through the platform of the association, and make in-depth discussions and practices in achievements transformation, integration of production and education, education and training, and professional certification, so as to make contributions to the construction of a maritime power. Secretary-General Chen and Deputy Secretary-General Song also pointed out that after the epidemic, cooperation and development are more convenient, and multi-field exploration can be tried. The two sides need to further communicate closely to lay a good foundation for the next work.All the representatives of SIOETC have made speeches, hoping that under the guidance of CDSA, they will continue to work hard for the marine engineering industry in China and achieve more achievements.Mr. wuyue, as the Ambassador of China of ISCO, an international anti-pollution organization, also discussed with the leaders of the association the mutual recognition among marine anti-pollution organizations, and jointly commended the units and individuals that China has made contributions to pollution prevention.



Founded in 2008, China Diving and Salvage Industry Association is a national 4A-level social organization guided by the Ministry of Transport and approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. As the only industrial and non-profit social organization in China, which is formed voluntarily by relevant institutions engaged in various diving, salvage, rescue, marine and underwater engineering, ship and facility construction, diving and salvage equipment and fittings manufacturing, diving medical support, marine and maritime scientific research, pollution prevention, teaching, training and insurance, the association currently has 900 member units, covering 28 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions all over the country, and has formed an important underwater rescue force. At present, the association is applying to change its name to "China diving and salvage industry association", and its functions will be more comprehensive after the name change.
